The long-awaited opium deal has been reached after 2 years of heavy political debates. Last night Lebron Baki of the North and Arda jr of the South had a long debate about the future of Tan Bakistan and its opium trade. At one side we had Lebron of the North opposing Tan Bakistans long lasting opium policies and on the other side there was Arda Jr who wants the keep the culture alive.
For years a deal was looking imminent but the delegations of the North and the South couldn't reach an agreement. So in a last effort the two fighting brothers, and rulers of Tan Bakistan came together to discuss the new deal themselves.
The South was pleading for keeping open the opium trade and the use of opium within their country. The Souths arguements were based on economy and tradition while the Norths arguments were based on quality of life, crime and international context. The first argument of the South was that the opium trade is Tan Bakistans most lucrative business, bringing in billions every year. The second one was that using opium was a long lasting tradition created by the great King Arda who is still the Tan Bakistanis spiritual leader. The North on the other hand says that the use of opium increases the crime rate in the country and that they are violating international law by keeping the opium trade alive. This leads to lower education and unhappy people.
But in the end a deal was reached and Tan Bakistan will be entering a new era. The new deal says that opium use will be heavily regulated in the North and use will not be as simple whilst keeping the South free with little to no rules. Another part of the deal says the trade wil continue but part of the money will be given to healthresearch and education to help the Tan Bakistani. Atlast the opium trade will slowly fase out when the country becomes less dependable on its trade. This way both sides can agree. The culture and tradition is held whilst helping the Tan Bakistani evolve into a new era with better education and health.
Though both sides had to give up on something, in the end it's the two leader of Tan Bakistani who reunited a bit more through compromise and a little brotherly love. This marks the beginning of a new era in Tan Bakistan. An era with more peace and prosperity.
